Description
Reluctantly for sale, this is a one of kind iconic Ericson 39. Heavily over invested, owner loss is your gain. Built in 1972 but totally rebuilt over a 7 year period (2012-2019) to a high standard. She is a fantastic sailing vessel achieving boat speeds of 6-8 knots with wind above 10 knots.
Note this is NOT a project boat. She is fully outfitted for cruising and/or racing. All systems were serviced in early 2023. She just returned from cruising the Bahamas and is now in storage on the hard in Fernandina Beach, FL for hurricane season. She's ready to step aboard and sail away.

Propulsion
- 48 Volt 6 KW Electric drive with 6 KW 48 Volt Fisher Panda generator. 1007 Hrs at time of writing.
- 48 Volt 100 AH Lithium battery set. Lithium Blue batteries with Bluetooth monitoring new Feb 23.
- System re wired Feb 23. Dedicated panel meters monitor Voltage, Current in and Current out.
- This gives 2-3 hrs on strictly batteries, but unlimited range on generator. 32 Gallon diesel tanks.
- Smooth water speed of 5.5-6 knots under power.
Mast and Rigging
- New mast/boom, standing rigging with Norseman terminals (2012).
- Working sails are in great condition. Mainsail and furling 130% Genoa laminate sails in tri-radial construction (2015). Mainsail has 2 reefs, Genoa is on a Profurl furler. Extendable pole, deck mounted.

Apart from all the Pros of this boat it should also be noted that, as with any vessel this age, there is some evidence of osmosis.
