Hull Construction

Built around a Modified Deep-V Hull for an exceptionally smooth ride both inshore and offshore, Boston BoatWorks elevated the MJM 43z by adapting advanced aerospace and racing sailboat composite methods to a powerboat design. Rather than relying on heavy fiberglass and raw horsepower, their precision engineering delivered an exceptionally rigid, yet lightweight structure built for long-term structural resilience.
Vacuum-Baked Epoxy Laminate: Stronger than standard fiberglass. Creates an exceptionally tough, watertight shell that prevents hull blistering and protects your investment for decades.
Kevlar-Reinforced Armor: Built for total peace of mind. Strategic use of Kevlar in high-impact areas keeps your boat safe and solid, even in heavy seas, without making it heavy or sluggish.
Shock-Absorbing Corecell Core: A smoother, quieter ride. Specialized closed-cell foam along the hull bottom cushions the blow when cutting through rough chop, protecting both the hull and your passengers from harsh pounding.
Aerospace Post-Curing: Higher speed, less fuel. By baking the hull in specialized ovens, the structure becomes ultra-rigid yet remarkably light, allowing you to cruise faster and burn significantly less fuel than heavy competing cruisers.
